1:1 Student Support (Term Time Only)

​​​​

Duties

​

  • To undertake Alternative Provision 1:1 support with young people in attendance both onsite, at East Clayton Farm, and on occasion during offsite visits to satellite sites or on external trips.

  • To organise activities for the young people that will meet their needs within the farm setting, whilst supporting them to achieve beyond their current perceived boundaries, supporting them to regulate their behaviour.

  • To provide a written same day report on the young person’s session and evidence how the session met lesson-plan outcomes.

  • To attend staff meetings and training days provided by ECF.

  • To work within the remit of the inclusive values and ethos of ECF and role model this to other staff and visitors.

Requirements

​

  • Minimum of 12 months experience of working with children with ASC, SEMH, learning and communication difficulties.

  • A good level of English reading, writing and numeracy.

  • An understanding of policies/legislation relating to safeguarding, health and safety, behaviour, equal opportunities, confidentiality and data protection

  • Good organisational skills.

  • Ability to build effective working relationships with students and adults.

  • An upbeat and motivating attitude.

  • Kind, calm and patient.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and be flexible to changes.

  • Happy to work outside in all weather conditions.

Hours

​

Monday - Friday, 9.30am-5.30pm (37.5hrs/week)

Salary £22,126.82 - £23,765.63 Pro rata

Part time Animal Support

​

Duties
 

  • To work along side our Livestock Manager, weekend staff and volunteers to help provide outstanding care to our wonderful animal team.​​​​

  • All normal animal husbandry jobs, including cleaning shelters, cleaning paddocks, assisting with field management, provided medical care when needed and performing daily health checks on the animals.

​

Requirements

​

  • Experience with large animals or reptiles a plus, but attitude and willingness to learn more important.

  • Eye for detail.

  • Kind and caring attitude.

  • Team player.

  • Good work ethic. 

  • Flexible and reliable.

​

Hours

​

Sunday & Monday, 9am-1pm (8hr/week)

​Salary £12 - £14ph depending on experience

​
